EXODUS (Ex-Offenders Discharged Under Supervision) was a three-year partnership project in operation across London and the South East regions, from July 2005 until the end of December 2007.
The project operated through local consortium sites which aimed to provide effective interventions for short-term prisoners and Prolific and other Priority Offenders. These local partnerships worked together to reduce re-offending through increasing the employability of ex-offenders and to support the transition from prison to the community.
Led by SEEDA (South East England Development Agency), the core partnership was comprised of a variety of statutory and voluntary organisations with a focus on cross-regional partnership working to promote best practice.
EXODUS received core funding from Equal, part of the European Social Fund to promote equal opportunities in the workplace.
